A Night to Remember – Dillion Menard Benefit Concert

Lake Superior State University students and the Dillon Menard family wrap up a benefit concert held Oct. 29 in Sault Ste. Marie Mich., to endow a track and cross-country scholarship established in the late LSSU athlete’s name. Menard, 19, a sophomore engineering student from Negaunee, Mich., died unexpectedly on Aug. 22, due to a heart condition.

Governor Granholm Congratulates Governor-elect Rick Snyder

LANSING – Governor Jennifer M. Granholm tonight extended congratulations to Governor-elect Rick Snyder on his election and pledged to help facilitate a smooth transition for the incoming administration. The governor and governor-elect are expected to meet Wednesday morning prior to Granholm’s departure to South Korea for a four-day jobs and investment mission.
