Michael James Knauf, 60, a lifelong area resident, died at Golden Leaves Living Center in Newberry on December 26, 2011. Cremation services have been accorded. A Mass of Christian Burial has yet to be scheduled. A full obituary will appear at a later date.

Marie, Mich – The Blues Travelers and their high energy rock band performance is coming to Kewadin’s DreamMakers Theater Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 7 p.m.  Tickets are $32.50 and go on sale Dec. 29. The band has been influenced by a variety of genres, including blues-rock, psychedelic rock, folk rock, soul, and Southern rock.

Marie,Michigan passed away at Northern MichiganRegional Hospital in Petoskey, Michigan on December 21, 2011 surrounded by his family. He was born in Neptune, New Jersey on June 1, 1935 to Gilbert Harrison and Nancye Peelle (Buxton) Cowan. MARIE, Mich. – For the second year in a row, a Lake Superior State University sociology student has won a state competition for her research. 2011 LSSU sociology graduate Yiliang (Eva) Wen was recently notified that she has been awarded the Outstanding Student Research Paper Award by the Michigan Sociological Association.
