Hobbies/Interests/Memberships: attended St. Mary’s School and Sault Area High School; Served in the U.S. Air Force during WW II; After his military career he attended Ferris State College; Worked for his father at the Man Store until 1961 when he and his brother George purchased it. They operated it together until 1971 when Phil became sole owner and he sold the Man Store in 1986. He was a member of St. Mary’s ProCathedral Church; the Sault Country Club and the Elks Lodge. Step Daughters Lisa (Maurice) Jacques of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan Jennifer (Cory) Wilson of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan

Grandchildren Andre’ Jacques; Jason Jacques; Jill Jacques and Avery Wilson
Also survived by 5 nephews and 2 nieces.

According to Phil’s wishes there will be a Funeral Mass only 12 noon Tuesday August 7, 2012 at St. Mary’s ProCathedral Church with Father Sebastian Kavumkal as Celebrant.
