Rare cockatiels available for adoption at Animal Shelter – HURRY
The Chippewa County Animal Shelter has received 21 cockatiel birds and they have prepped them for adoption to the public.
After a local home had been declared condemned, the birds were taken to the shelter. Officials contacted a veterinarian who examined all the birds and declared them healthy.
After starting with 21 birds, the shelter now has 10 Peach Faced Cockatiels remaining that are looking to spend some quality time with YOU. Remember, though, that these birds tend to live to be 20+ years old.
The shelter is offering the birds at $25.00 each if you bring your own cage. If you need a cage, the shelter has those available, also. They range in size and in price from $10 – $50.
The shelter is open from Monday through Friday until 5 pm and on Saturday from Noon to 4 pm.
