Robert C. “Reno” Rousseau

Robert C. “Reno” Rousseau of Sault Ste Marie,Michiganpassed away Sunday, August 19, 2012 atWarMemorialHospital.  Bob was born in Sault Ste Marie on October 25, 1937.

Bob sailed on the Great Lakes and also worked on theMackinacBridge.  He was a member of the Moose Lodge.  Bob was retired from the Sault Area Schools.  He was known by many of his friends as “Birthday Bob”.

Bob is survived by his two sons, Richard (Josie) Rousseau of Traverse City, Michigan and Ronald (Julie) Rousseau of Lyman,South Carolina, a daughter Jennifer (Ron) Sullivan of Simpsonville,South Carolina.

Also surviving are his sister Carol (Doyle) Smith of Galena, Illinois, his brother Jack (Jan) Rousseau ofMauston,Wisconsinand his loving partner,Barbara S. Lane.  Bob had five grandchildren; Jeanine, Nicole, Amber Noah and Bree, great-grandson Kalan and a former wife, Joanne.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents John and Adora Rousseau.

Visitation will take place from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Clark Bailey Newhouse Funeral Home.  His final resting place will be atOaklawnChapelGardens
