SAULT STE. MARIE – Shelley J. White-Thomas of The White-Thomas Law Firm, PLLC has been named to the Michigan Super Lawyers Rising Stars lists as one of the top attorneys in Michigan for 2011. Each year, no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to receive this honor.

The selections for this esteemed list are made by the research team at Super Lawyers, which is a service of the Thompson Reuters, Legal division based in Egan, Minnesota. Each year, the research team undertakes a rigorous multi-phase selection process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluations of candidates by the attorney-led research staff, a peer review of candidates by practice area and a good standing and disciplinary check.

The Super Lawyers lists are published nationwide in Super Lawyers magazines and in leading city and regional magazines across the country. Super Lawyers magazines also feature editorial profiles of attorneys who embody excellence in the practice of law. For more information about Super Lawyers, go to superlawyers.com.
