Walter France, Jr.

Walter Green France, Jr., age 53, formerly of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 8, 2012 in Howell, Michigan.

Wally was born May 14, 1959 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to the late Walter G. and Loretta Ann (nee Steve) France, Sr. Wally loved snowmobiling, fishing, and watching all Detroit sports teams. He was employed at American Drillbox and later at Northern Transitions.

Wally is survived by five brothers: Charles (Jennifer) France of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, James (Cathy) France of Sault Ste, Marie, MI, Gary (Brenda) Bergeron of Florida, Bob (Darlene) Bergeron of Houghton Lake, MI, and Richard (Judy) Bergeron of Sanford, MI; a sisters-in-law: Vallee Bergeron of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, Carol Bergeron of Midland, MI; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Wally was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Paul Bergeron.

A memorial mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Moriusz Sierhart as celebrant. Burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery.
