SCHOOLCRAFT COUNTY, MI — An Upper Peninsula man was found dead after a snowmobile crash in Schoolcraft County. Deputies from the Schoolcraft County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched about 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, to Road 442 on Trail 2 for a report of a snowmobile crash, according to the sheriff’s office.
Upon arrival, it was determined that an unidentified male subject had gone off the trail and hit a group of trees resulting in a fatality.
The victim’s name and further information are being withheld pending investigation and contact of family members.
