Chippewa County Sheriff Mike Bitnar announced the retirement of Deputy Doug Graham today.
Doug started serving his Country in February of 1985 in the USMC. Doug left the USMC, after serving a 4 year commitment, in February of 1989.
Doug then attended and received a Law Enforcement degree from Lake Superior State University. Doug picked the Chippewa Co Sheriff’s Office to complete his College Internship. He must have loved that internship as he never left.
Doug hired on with the Chippewa Co Sheriff’s Office shortly after completing his LE degree.
Doug committed the next 25 years to the citizens of Chippewa County and for that we thank you. Doug has been a loyal employee and it has been a pleasure to have him as part of our work family.
We had a small retirement gathering today to honor his service. We wish Doug and his family the best of luck in his retirement.
Doug’s last official day is next Friday, but we don’t expect to see him much next week.
GOOD LUCK DOUG! and GOD BLESS!
