Paula McCrory

Paula McCrory, 70 of ST.Ignace passed away early March 12 at her home on North Marley Street following a lingering illness.

She was born September 21,1949 in ST.Ignace to Thomas and Electa (Becker) Paquin. She was a graduate of LaSalle High School in 1967. and married Vernon McCrory on June 5,1969. He died November 5,2007. She was a waitress at the Big Boy Restaurant several years in mackinaw City.

She is survived by her family, son, Jason (SarahWiggins) McCrory, Brevort; daughters, Denise Orr, ST.Ignace; Shannon Brown and Jim Clapperton, ST.Ignace; Shelly McCrory, St.Ignace; McKayla McCrory and Jim Hettel, ST.Ignace; brothers, Thomas ‘T.J.” Paquin, Rudyard, Melvin Paquin, Cheboygan; sisters, Mary “Betsy” and Tony Braley, in Tenn.; Eudene McDowell, ST.Ignace;Patsy Taylor, Rogers City.7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; she was preceeded in death by siblings, Conrad Paquin, Gary Paquin, Raymond Paquin, Mary Lou Hansen, Shelby Dixson, and Theresa Alexander, and her husband.

No services are planned at this time but her ashes will be buried beside her husand in May in ST.Ignatius Cemetery. Dodson Funeral Home and Cremation services handled arrangements.
