Calling all voters: Your vote matters! Especially in a Primary Election (which this year is August 4th) since only one party is often represented on the ballot, and the winners of the primary election move to the November General Election (11/3/2020). Don’t “skip” the Primary Election. These days, we have lots of ways to connect and share the things that matter most to us. Your vote is the best way to share what matters most to you. The League of Women Voters of Eastern Upper Peninsula (LWVEUP) urges voters to prepare for the upcoming August 4th election by visiting VOTE411.org to read and compare candidate responses to relevant issues.
VOTE411.org also helps voters find their polling place, check voting hours, learn about ballot measures, and read tips about voting in Michigan. Don’t know your state or county district? Find out simply by typing in your home address; VOTE411.org will give your county and district information. VOTE411.org is the nation’s premiere online election resource and the League of Women Voters of Eastern Upper Peninsula has added our local voter’s guide to VOTE411.org so that voters in our area can learn about their federal, state, county and local candidates.
To candidates, VOTE411.org is a free election outreach tool for you. If you have not responded to the League’s questionnaire, we urge you to hurry and answer the questions. Candidates are submitting their answers every day for voters to read and compare. Don’t be left out! Reach more voters with this easy-to-use free election resource.
