Due to a COVID exposure the lobby of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Department was closed the afternoon of July 8, 2020, for normal business transactions. After a thorough professional virus cleaning of the building and a 12 day closure the lobby is reopened today during normal business hours, with the following safety measures back in place.
- The lobby business hours are Mon. thru Fri. 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- Everyone entering the lobby is required to wear a face covering.
- If you feel sick but must speak with an officer, please stay in your car and call 906-632-5744. An officer will come outside to meet you.
- The lobby is restricted to three members of the pubic at a time. If the lobby is at that limit please wait outside until it clears.
- The prescription drop box is open.
If at the station and need to speak with an officer after normal business hours the red call box button outside is still available. Let the dispatcher know what you are there for and an officer will be dispatched to meet you.
