James Harry Huyck, 70, of Moran, passed away Wednesday evening August 19 unexpectedly at his home on E. Dukes Road, Moran. He was born July 26, 1950 to Orville and Margaret (Wilcox) Huyck and had just celebrated his 70th birthday.
James worked for the Chrysler Corporation and retired in 1990 and moved north to Moran. He also worked for the Long Term Care Facility in St. Ignace and retired to take care of his wife. He was married to
his wife Lois for 52 years on August 3. They were high school sweethearts in Melvindale.
Surviving are his wife, Lois; and a son, Jason of Alpena, Michigan.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 31, at 2 p.m. in Lakeside Cemetery in St. Ignace with Pastor Dave Davis officiating.
Dodson Funeral Cremation Burial Services assisted with arrangements.
