Victoria Etapa

Victoria L. Etapa, age 81, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan passed away early Saturday morning, September 5, 2020, at the Hospice of the EUP – Hospice House.

Victoria was born on September 9, 1938, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada, to the late Victor and Margaret (Wilson) Hewett. She attended Lake State University. She married David William Etapa Sr. on March 10, 1957, in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, Canada

Victoria is survived by her children: Daniel (Christine) of Chicago, IL and Debby Sue Vaughn of Freeport, FL; and a grandchild: Sarah Jean Etapa of Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Victoria is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Victoria was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: David Etapa, Sr. (2020); and a son: David Etapa, Jr. (1999).

Cremation has already taken place.  Services will be held next summer at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)
