SAULT STE MARIE, MICH. On December 4, 2020 at approximately 10:15 p.m. a trooper from the Michigan State Police (MSP) Sault Ste. Marie Post made a traffic stop of a vehicle for a traffic violation on County Road 402 near County Road 405 in Pentland Township, Luce County. The driver was identified as a 33-year-old man from Newberry.
Following the trooper’s investigation, the driver was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.
The driver was arrested and lodged in the Luce County Jail for possession of methamphetamine. The suspect is considered innocent unless proven guilty.
