The Chippewa Co Sheriff’s Office assisted Tri-Dent on an ongoing investigation into Methamphetamine Distribution in Chippewa County in the early morning hours of 12-15-2020.
A Deputy Sheriff stopped a suspect vehicle just after midnight and identified the driver as Mr. Justen Harris. The passenger was identified as a Ms. Heather Perez. It was found that Ms. Perez had 2 warrants, one was a Felony Narcotics warrant out of the 11th Circuit Court, St Ignace Mi and the other was a Fail to Appear warrant from the 92nd Dist Court, St Ignace Mi.
A U.S. Border Patrol K-9 unit assisted. The K-9 did give a positive alert on the suspect vehicle.
Tri-Dent executed a search warrant on the vehicle resulting in the seizure of Methamphetamine, Prescription Narcotics, scales and other drug paraphernalia.

1- Possession with intent to deliver Methamphetamine, Felony
2- Conspiracy, Possession with intent to deliver Methamphetamine, Felony 3- Possession of Analogues, Felony
4- Possession of prescription drug5- Harris is a Habitual Offender 4th Degree.
Heather Noel Perez, 33-year-old,
St Ignace Mi resident
1- Possession with intent to deliver Methamphetamine, Felony
2- Conspiracy, Possession with intent to deliver Methamphetamine, Felony
3- Possession of Analogues, Felony
4- Possession prescription drug5- Warrant arrest x-2
Both Harris and Perez are innocent until proven guilty.
Harris and Perez were arraigned in 91st Dist Court on 12-15-2020.
This distribution of Methamphetamine investigation continues and more arrests are likely.
