SAULT STE MARIE, MI — In a letter posted to social media by Scott and Bernie Parker, they have announced that they’ve sold the Hardware Store they’ve operated for nearly 50 years!.
Scott reported that the new name of the store will be: Parker ACE Hardware. The new owner, Michael Lynn, has realized that there’s a lot to an established name and has decided to keep everything the same. The name, address, phone will all stay the same.
You may remember Parker Ace sponsored the Christmas Parade of Lights this past week, but as many of us know they were a very involved business within our community.
Scott Parker expressed his sincere thank you to all his employees, present and past, as well as all the customers who have made Parker’s the premier hardware store in the Tri-County area.
Michael Lynn is the CEO of Lynn Auto Parts. Lynn Auto Parts operates the largest group of privately owned NAPA Auto Parts stores in Michigan, as well as ACE and True Value hardware stores.

Only reason for this review is buyer beware
Back at the holidays I rented there tractor. I have rented this tractor multiple times. The bucket kept getting stuck in the view of driving. I called to have them come pick up the tractor because I was not driving it back to there store do to the bucket blocking my view, it was snowing outside. I was told they had no way to pick it up because 2 reasons no trailer available because they didn’t own one and no one was available to pick it up because the repair guy was gone for another week. So about a week later they showed up to collect the tractor and tried charging me for a week of course I refused. Now when they called me about the rental fee I told the manager of the rental department what I did he called me a liar as you can imagine that comment did not go over very well. Then they started renting a smaller tractor. The first time everything was great then the second time they rented everything worked great except after I returned it I was confronted by Cory Parker the store manager and Ryan McDowell saying when I returned it it was broken and they amitted to sending out the machine broken because it was broken when I returned it. Now moving to this year thanksgiving snow storm. I was hired to do a job. This person asked me to use the tractor to remove his snow banks around his fiancé house. I told him I would if u could use the tractor to do a few places of my own so I did. Just after 4 pm that when Cory Parker come on to my own property taking pictures of me inside the equipment. My daughter was there at the time asked this tractor doesn’t say Parker Ace Hardware on it. The next morning I woke up Parker Ace Hardware took the machine off the property so I called the police. They told me to take them to civil court and take Cory Parker to court for civil trespassing.
So before I lawsuit I gave the owner Michael Lynn yes the owner of quality automotive also
