Sault Ste. Marie police are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred yesterday evening.
In a news release issued today, police say they responded to a call around 8:50 p.m. yesterday of a man suffering from a gunshot wound in the area of King Street.
The 27-year-old was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
