A fire destroyed a house this evening (5/18/21) in Bay Mills Township in Chippewa County.
The call came in around 630p.m. Bay Mills, Superior and Dafter Township Fire Depts all responded….as well as DNR.
The house is located on 6 mile road just east of S. West Birch Point Loop.
The renter says the fire started outside of the house near the gas meter. Seven people were inside the house when it started. They all got out safely.
