Patricia “Pat” Benoit

Patricia “Pat” Benoit, age 86, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, passed away April 29, 2021, at the Hospice of the EUP – Hospice House.

Pat was born on March 18, 1935, to the late Clayton and Opal (Jollineau) Ellis. She was a graduate of Sault Area High School and also attended Lake Superior State University.  Pat married Howard Benoit on July 3, 1954, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.  Pat worked as Office Manager for the local GM automobile dealerships and as the Manager of Chippewa County Credit Union.

Pat is survived by her daughter: Bobbi Sue Benoit of Sault Ste. Marie, MI.  Pat was preceded in death by her husband: Howard; son: David; and siblings: Jack Ellis, Shirley Traylor, Robert Ellis, Gary Ellis (infant), and Richard Ellis.

Cremation has already taken place.  A graveside committal service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 21, 2021, at Oaklawn Chapel Gardens.

Memorials may be left to Hospice of the EUP.
