Marilyn June (Lawrence) Robbins passed away at Hospice of the EUP “Hospice House” on July 31, 2021.
Marilyn was born on June 23, 1931, in Sault Ste, Marie, Michigan to the late Franklin Ross and Gladys (Roosevelt (St George) Lawrence.
Marilyn retired from Sault School. Marilyn and her husband Kenneth Robbins liked to winter in Arizona.
She enjoyed camping, crocheted, crafts, playing cards with her friends, going to her monthly luncheons with the retired secretary. She really enjoyed going to the casino. Marilyn was a member of the WMH Auxiliary.
Marilyn was always fun to be around. She kept you on your toes. She was a brilliant woman; always thinking ahead and had a memory you wouldn’t believe. She made the best of what she was dealt and stayed positive. She never let anything get her down. She was truly one of a kind. She will be deeply missed by many.
Surviving her is her son: David (Paula) Robbins of Dayton TX; several grandchildren & great-grandchildren, lots of nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
Proceeded in death was her husband: Kenneth Robbins that she lost in 2003; her sister: Donna Thompson; brothers: Keith, Burton, Clifton & Duke Lawrence.
Per Marilyn’s request, no services will be held. Burial will be at Oakland Chapel Gardens, where she will join her husband.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the Hospice of the EUP
