Theresa Strater

Theresa Florence Strater, 69, of Soo Twp., passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021, at the Hospice House of the EUP.

Born on March 21, 1952, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the oldest daughter of the late Edward and Florence (Stemplevich) Siedlecki. She was a member of the Catholic Church and was employed on the Count Team for Kewadin Casinos in Sault Ste. Marie, MI for many years until her retirement. In her spare time, Theresa enjoyed crocheting, reading, and loved to make big dinners to feed friends and relatives on holidays.

Survivors include her husband Thomas “Tom” who she married in Barrington, N.J. on July 18, 1970, her children Regina, Suzanne, and Dorothy, along with 7 grandchildren. Also, surviving are siblings Trish, Joseph, Kate, Helen, Cindy, Lorraine, and Edward.

According to her wishes, cremation services have already been accorded. There are no public services to be announced. Inurnment will occur in Pine Grove Cemetery at a later date.
