Stephen “Monk” Joseph Marchetti

Stephen “Monk” Joseph Marchetti, age 66, of Sault Ste. Marie, MI passed away on November 4, 2021, at his home.

Monk was born on February 24, 1955, in Sault Ste, Marie, Michigan to the late Joseph and Rena Jean (Moorehead) Marchetti. After high school he worked as a Mechanic. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Monk enjoyed working on cars, having a beer with friends, and watching a good movie. He loved his cats: Bubba and Ivy.

Monk is survived by three brothers: Scott (Teri) Marchetti, Greg (Debbie) Marchetti, and Jon (Ardith) Marchetti; and a sister: Mary (Keith) Elliott.

A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Friday, November 12, 2021, at C.S. Mulder Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held that same day at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Michael and Father Romeo as co-celebrants. Burial will be held at Oaklawn Chapel Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to a charity of your choice.
