SAULT STE. MARIE – Sault Ste. Marie cruised to a 51-29 win to hand Straits Area Conference rival St. Ignace its first loss of the year Thursday evening.
The Blue Devils improve to 4-2 overall with the win and move to 2-1 in league play.
Up next, Sault Ste. Marie will host Dewitt (3-0) for a non-conference matchup on Saturday, Dec. 18 at 2 p.m.
While St. Ignace falls to 2-1 with its first loss of the season. The Saints will take on out-of-conference opponent Engadine for its next contest on Monday, Dec. 20 at 7:15 p.m.
