BAY MILLS — Bay Mills Health Center will celebrate their grand opening on Wednesday, May 18 at 12:30 p.m. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, BMHC opened the new facility on April 20, having increased to a 34,000 square foot, state-of-the-art building.
They have expanded services to be all-inclusive at the Health Center, including medical, pharmacy, dental, community health, behavioral health, optical, lab and x-ray (including mammography). The new dental services include implants, dentures and crowns, made on site.
The building and new equipment is estimated at more than a $15 million investment.
Partners in the project include Michigan Economic Development Incorporation, (MEDC) United State Department (USDA) United States Department of Agriculture. Michigan Department of Health & Human Service (MDHHS) Health Resource Administration (HRSA)
Indian Health Services (HIS) , and DSGW.
