Edwina Nelle Dellinger

Edwina Nelle Dellinger, age 83, died at her home in Mackinac County, Michigan on May 1, 2022. She was born on October 11, 1938, in Lake Worth, Florida to Edward and Mary (Parker) Crawley.

Edwina grew up and attended school in Florida. She raised a family of 5 children. She moved to Arizona in 2014 and later, to Michigan in 2020.

Edwina was a member of many Renaissance Fairs for more than 20 years and was known as Etaine, becoming “Queen” and then, “Empress.” Edwina also known as “Windy” enjoyed many activities in her life but her favorite things to do was to read and go to Renaissance Fairs.

Windy is survived by her daughters, Candace (Jeffery) Majewski of Loxahatchee, Florida, and Cynthia (Donald) Couch of Rudyard, Michigan; sons, Terence (Patricia) Hanbury of Robbins, Tennessee, Billa John Jr. (Laurie) White of Hypoluxo, Florida, and Bruce Benafield of Rudyard, Michigan; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Windy is preceded in death by her parents Mary and Edward Crawley.

There will be no services at this time.

Memorials may be donated to the Mackinac County Animal Shelter in Saint Ignace, Michigan.
