The 6 Mile Bridge over the Waiska River will be closed for demolition beginning at 6 AM on Monday, July 11, 2022. The bridge will remain closed until the US Labor Day weekend.
This will be a full closure with no vehicle, bicycle, or pedestrian access.
Please plan ahead and use other routes for your travels!

I wish the news and the county both would clarify the location on 6 mile. No one ever calls this “6 mile bridge.” It’s NOT the BRIMLEY bridge as so many are assuming.
