Elizabeth “Betty” Lee (Robertson) Rudiger of Hessel, Michigan, passed away at Medilodge of Cheboygan, Michigan on August 8, 2022, at the age of 85. Betty was born on July 16, 1937, in De Tour, Michigan, to parents Harold and Helen (Bailey) Robertson.
Betty worked as a waitress in the state of Wisconsin and in the eastern Upper Peninsula before settling in Hessel.
Betty is survived by her son, Ron (Michelle) Carlson of Birmingham, Michigan; four granddaughters; three great granddaughters and two great grandson; sister, Mary Jo Hill of Sault Ste. Marie; and her brothers-in-law, Frank Bailey of Drummond Island, Michigan, and Evan Davis of Cedar Springs, Michigan.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Helen; sons, Ricky, Randy and Rodney (Dean) Sindles; sisters, Maxine Bailey and Bonnie Davis; best friend and love of her life, Bob Drumm.
Per Betty’s wishes, a private service will be scheduled to place her cremated body next to Bob in Rockview Cemetery.
