Kenneth “Kenny” Dale Kammers, age 45, of Kincheloe, Michigan, died at his home on August 10, 2022. He was born in St. Ignace, Michigan, on June 19, 1977, to Dale McDowell and Mary Kammers.
Kenny grew up in St. Ignace with his mother and grandmother. He spent many hours at Big Momma Lynn’s with his brothers, Tiger and Louis, oftentimes getting into mischief. In 2012, he returned and made his forever home in the Eastern Upper Peninsula. Over the years, he worked as a chief in many restaurants.
Kenny loved to cook, fish, load his dogs in his car and going for rides, and spending time with friends and family.
Kenny is survived by his sons, Eathan O’Crotty and Nicolas Kammers; sister, Lori (Andrew) Theisen of St. Ignace; brothers, Billy (Jill) Kammers of Adrian, Michigan, and Tiger (Eileen) Carlton ;close nieces and nephews, Meghan, logan, Jenna, Arielle, Preston, Brady, CeCe, & Archie; Theresa “Nana” McCarthy; and many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Kenny is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Kammers; father, Dale McDowell; grandmother, Adeline Kammers; grandfather, Dean Kammers; and brother, Louis Carlton; aunt Marilynn “Tooty” Mitchell.
Services will be held at a later date.
Final resting place will be at Cedar Cemetery in Cedarville, Michigan.
