William F. Sherlund

William F. Sherlund, (Bill), born February 12, 1950, passed away on September 16, 2022, in Cedarville, Michigan at the age of 72.

Bill is survived by ten brothers and sisters: Sandy (Kathie) Sherlund, Marcia Jeffries, Jim (Ferne) Sherlund, Larry (Jane) Sherlund, Mary Denise (Chuck) Lindberg, Steve (Robin) Sherlund, Pam Keator, Tom (Linda) Sherlund, Andrea (John) Reimer, Marty (Kathy) Sherlund; numerous nephews and nieces; his Uncle Bob and Aunt Laura Sherlund; many, many cousins and his dog, Charlie.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mary Sherlund.

After studying at Northern Michigan University, Bill served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. Later Bill cared for Norman, his disabled friend, for more than 20 years. Later, Bill cared for residents at Cedar Cove Assisted Living.

Bill is perhaps best known for his carrot cake and his love of gardening, gardening skills, and knowledge. Bill could grow anything and would often find, rearrange & move many natural elements to enhance his beautiful garden areas. Bill will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.
