Debby Pearl Wilkins

Debby Pearl Wilkins, age 61, of Sault Ste. Marie, MI passed away on October 2, 2022.

Debby was born on April 17, 1961, in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to the late Clifford and Joyce (Chalmers) Gamelin. Debbie was a graduate of Sault High School with the class of 1982.  On October 20, 1990, she married Larry James Wilkins in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. She loved going out on the boat with her husband, horseback riding, spending time and supporting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as loving on her beloved dogs: Sage and Bella and kitty: Mr. Man.

Debby is survived by her loving husband: Larry Wilkins; three children: Sherri (Don) Bloomfield and Terry (Nicole) Wilkins both of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, and Christina Wilkins of Prairie Village, KS; grandchildren: Rachel, Emily (Jeff), Alyssa, Aaron, Sidney, Jenna, and Laila; and great grandchildren: Ryan, Jaxson, Cora, Lauren, and Liam. Debby is also survived by three siblings: Lorraine (Bob) Quarrell of Sault Ste. Marie, ONT, Wayne (Ada) Gamelin and Clifford “Kip” (Lise) Gamelin both of Sault Ste. Marie, MI. 

Debby was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Richard and Alvin Gamelin.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 7, 2022, at C.S. Mulder Funeral Home.  Friends may gather that same day at the funeral home from 11:00 until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help family with funeral expenses and the Chippewa County Animal Shelter.
