MIDLAND, Mich. – For the fourth year in a row, MyMichigan Health earned two honors by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) HealthCare’s Most Wired survey. MyMichigan received the 2022 Most Wired Certified Level 7 Acute Award, as well as the 2022 Most Wired Certified Level 7 Ambulatory Award. The CHIME Digital Health Most Wired program conducts an annual survey to assess how effectively health care organizations apply core and advanced technologies into their clinical and business programs to improve health and care in their communities.
The Digital Health Most Wired survey and recognition program serve as a comprehensive “Digital Health Check-up” for health care organizations across the world. As success in digital health increasingly determines the quality of patient care, the scope of the CHIME Digital Health Most Wired survey reflects the progress of leading healthcare providers as they reinvent health care for a new century.

Among the more than 38,000 organizations surveyed by CHIME, MyMichigan Health ranked above peers in categories like analytics and data management, population health, infrastructure, and patient engagement. The survey assessed the adoption, integration and impact of technologies in health care organizations at all stages of development, from early development to industry leading.
Innovations implementing the latest in information technology at MyMichigan Health in 2022 include having electronically exchanged 3.093 million electronic health records with other providers and hospitals to streamline care, as well as extending the organization’s electronic medical record system to two community hospitals. In addition, since 2016, MyMichigan Health has more than 317,907 virtual care visits and saved patients 10,465,113 miles of travel.
