SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League has announced that Sunday’s scheduled regular season contest between the Blind River Beavers and Soo Eagles at the Blind River Community Centre has been postponed.
The cause of the cancellation is due to members of the Eagles who are currently battling the flu.
“As we work our way through this flu bug that was affected a number of our teams as of late, we will continue to stay vigilant in respect to the health and safety of everyone associated with our league,” stated NOJHL commissioner Robert Mazzuca.
The NOJHL will announce the date and time of the Beavers – Eagles make-up game once it is finalized by the NOJHL office.
