The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced Monday that Soo Eagles’ defenseman Coby Fox has been named one of the Eastlink TV 3 Stars of the Week, for the period ending March 12.
The reliable Eagles blueliner also chipped in with multiple points over the weekend, helping his side collect a pair of home ice victories.
Featured in his offensive production was supplying his first NOJHL game-winning goal Saturday in a narrow 3-2 triumph over Powassan.
The 19-year-old from Littleton, Colo., enters the final week of the regular season on a three-game point streak and has career bests in markers, helpers and points with three, 20 and 23.
