Thanks to the courage of additional victims who came forward, Cody Mathieu McCoy is in jail again with more drug, sex crimes and human trafficking charges.
In our original article, with information from the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office on March 6 regarding McCoy’s original arrest, the Sheriff stated, “TRIDENT has been investigating a man (McCoy) who they believe has been taking advantage of young women struggling with addiction. Specifically, this individual has been supplying drugs to women to obtain sex through coercion.”
The Chippewa County Prosecutors Office authorized the following additional charges for Mr. Cody McCoy, in addition to his original thirteen felony charges.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES:
• CSC (Criminal Sexual Conduct) 1st Degree
• Delivery of Methamphetamine
• Delivery of Methamphetamine
• Delivery of Fentanyl
• Human Trafficking
McCoy was arraigned in the 91st Dist court on 3-27-2023. The court set bond on Mr. McCoy at $250,000 and at this time he is lodged in the CCCF. Mccoy is innocent until proven guilty.
