Sault Youth Wrestling competed in 3 tournaments this weekend including NEMWA in
Pinconning, MYWAY in Mio, and MYWAY Greights in Big Rapids. Numbers were down due
to significant club illnesses.
NEMWA – Pinconning tournament results:
Levi Hudson 2-2 (4th), Jackson Minta 1-2 (DNP), Drew Burtt 3-0 (1st), Carson Browning 0-2
(3rd), and Hazen Hudson 0-2 (DNP).
MYWAY – Mio tournament results:
Silas Waybrand 2-2 (4th), Royce Copenhafer 3-1 (2nd), Dominic Branam 0-3 (4th), Micah
Smith 2-1 (2nd), Braedyn Hering 1-1 (2nd), Emmet Rogers 3-1 (3rd), Brayden Anderson 0-2
(DNP), Drake Ormsbee 0-2 (DNP), Josh Klier 2-1 (2nd), Jackson Minta 2-0 (1st), Daniel
Laitinen 0-2 (DNP), and Kane Savoie 0-2 (DNP).
MYWAY – North GREIGHTS tournament results:
Levi Hudson 1-2 (DNP), Drew Burtt 2-1 (2nd), and Hazen Hudson 1-2 (DNP).
This weekend we will travel to Gladwin, Gaylord, and Saline to compete!

Sault Youth Wrestling (501c3) promotes and supports the sport of youth wrestling in the Eastern Upper
Peninsula of Michigan at all levels as defined by MYWAY and/or NEMWA and the age levels associated
with those organizations. Our goals are to develop amateur athletes for competition, serve as a support
for the wrestling sport in all Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan schools and promote good
sportsmanship, give instruction in strong fundamental competitive wrestling skills, promote, and
develop a good competitive spirit, develop a cohesive team unit and promote friendship and respect for
