We are excited to announce our coaching and front office staff for the 2024-2025 season!
The General Managers will include Mike Kaunisto and Isaac Mckechnie. Mike has been serving as the club’s only general manager for many years and will now be joined by Isaac to help put together our team for the 2024-2025 season.
Our new Head Coach, Doug Laprade from the Soo Eagles of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League. Doug brings a high level of coaching and playing experience that will be a major asset to the program. Laprade played for the Lake Superior State University Ice Hockey Lakers from 1987-91 and was part of the 1988 national championship team. In addition, he was an assistant coach of the Lakers from 2012-2014. Joining Doug on the coaching staff will be Josh Payment, Jerry Lortie, and Terry Barbeau.
We are looking forward to a great tryout camp starting on Friday April 26th at the Big Bear Arena!
