NEWBERRY, Mich. – The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is investing about $1 million to resurface nearly 7 miles of M-134 from Nunns Creek Road to 3 Mile Road in Mackinac County. The work includes double-chip seal, fog seal, over-band crack fill, asphalt mastic repair, aggregate shoulders, guardrail repair, and pavement markings.
Work will be performed during daytime hours only. One lane of alternating traffic will be maintained on M-134 using traffic regulators. An 11-foot lane width restriction will be in place during the project.
