Stalwart, MI – Stalwart Fair Board members and volunteers are busily planning for this year’s
Halloween Celebration at the Stalwart Fairgrounds on Friday, October 4th and Saturday,
October 5th.
Stalfest was created in 2013 by Cindy Markstrom and Maggie Clegg in order to provide another
family event while utilizing the Stalwart Fairgrounds prior to closing things up for winter. All
funds raised go to support the Stalwart Fair.
Campers will check in on Friday afternoon and can expect to receive a full schedule of weekend
activities including a daytime and nighttime campsite decorating contest, chili cook off, candy
bar bingo, pumpkin carving contest, as well as youth, adult, group, and pet costume contests.
We will also have our famous Haunted Trail & Barn with new screams each and every year!
Activities are for campers and their families. The Haunted Barn will be open to campers and the
public from 7:30pm-10pm both Friday and Saturday. Dress warm and bring cash. Adults are
$10 and children 12 and under are $5.
Camping is just $30 for the weekend and there are still spots available. Message the Facebook
page and Maggie will get you set up to join the fun! Camper trailers may arrive earlier if more
time is needed to decorate.
