It is with a heartfelt enthusiasm and great joy that I am officially endorsing the former President of the United States of America , Donald J . Trump, for re- election as the President of our great country.
I became an early supporter and even volunteered for his campaign in 2015 before the first primary election was even held and before many others decided to join his campaign. After watching our great Country continue to slowly fall apart, become weaker and less respected around the world, and as our adversaries grew stronger economically, politically and militarily , I knew someone that was not part of the established political parties, and that loved our Country more than our parties hated each other, and more than our enemies hated us, would have to step up and step in to not only stop the slow but inevitable process of collapse, but to start the process of rebuilding and strengthening our once great Nation again. Donald Trump is that person. President Trump has achieved more historical and consequential accomplishments in his first term, while simultaneously fighting off the deep state, DC establishment and unaccountable globalists , than any other President has ever been able to do in our Nation’s history. Some of the historic policies , programs and initiatives that were championed by President Trump and that had significant impact on job growth for our Country and its tribal communities were things such as: 1. Opportunity Zones: The Trump administration’s 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act established Opportunity Zones, which included several Native American communities. This allowed businesses in these zones to receive tax incentives for investing, potentially stimulating job creation and economic growth in Indian Country.
2. Infrastructure Projects: The Trump administration focused on improving infrastructure in Indian Country, such as broadband access, roads, and utilities, which can create both short-term construction jobs and long-term economic benefits.
3. No Tribal Energy Resource Agreements (TERAs): The Trump administration encouraged tribes to take control of their energy resources, such as oil, gas, and renewable energy projects, which led to job creation in these sectors. 4. Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Economic Development Programs: The administration supported existing programs within the BIA to provide technical and financial support to tribes for job training and business development. President Trump has demonstrated his commitment to supporting tribal sovereignty, fostering economic opportunities for Native American communities, and advocating for the preservation of native American cultures and lands. During his time in office, President Trump focused on issues that deeply impacted tribal communities, including advancing energy development opportunities, securing historic funding for tribal health and education programs, and ensuring native American voices were included in discussions on national policy. His administration worked tirelessly to reduce regulations that restricted growth and created roadblocks to self-determination. President Trump’s vision for a stronger, more prosperous America includes empowering tribal communities and its members to have more control over their own futures. President Trump recognizes the importance of protecting the native Americans cultural heritage while providing economic tools for future generations to thrive.
As a former elected President of a Federally recognized tribal community in Michigan, and as a retired Law Enforcement Officer and former Chief of Police, I am honored to endorse Donald J. Trump for President of the United States of America.
I urge all Americans, whether tribal members or not, to support his campaign and vote to re-elect him as President of our great Nation.
With Respect,
Kurt D Perron, Former President
