TRIDENT-Sault Ste Marie PD – Chippewa Co Sheriff Bust Major Meth Dealers and Stolen Property Ring

All agencies worked together on Friday November 22nd working on multiple criminal investigations. Trident had already been working on the Methamphetamine investigation when stolen property investigations connected the same suspects.

The investigations lead law enforcement to executing multiple search warrants.

The investigation lead to the seizure of approximately 8 ounces (half a pound) of Methamphetamine, several thousand dollars of U.S. Currency, a firearm, stolen trailer and other stolen property related to several other criminal investigations.

The investigation lead to the following arrested persons and their charges:

SHANE ALLEN MULLETT 51 yr old Soo Twp resident, Chippewa County

Blue shirt

1- Possession with intent to Delivery of Methamphetamine
2- Conspiracy to deliver Methamphetamine
3- Weapons Felon in Possession
4- Weapons offense
5- Possession of stolen property-
6- Maintaining a Drug house

Mullett is a 4th Habitual offender
$250,000 Bond

BRANDY MAE BARKIE 44 yr old Soo Twp resident, Chippewa County

1- Possession with intent to Deliver Methamphetamine
2- Conspiracy to deliver Methamphetamine
3- Maintaining a Drug house

$200,000 Bond

BOYD CARTER ROLSTON 48 yr old Soo Twp resident, Chippewa County

1- Conspiracy to deliver Methamphetamine
2- Possession of Methamphetamine
3- Breaking and Entering
4- Breaking and Entering
5- Possession of stolen property

Rolston is a 4th Habitual Offender

$250,000 Bond

All three suspects were arraigned in the 91st Dist court on 11/25/2024. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

There were literally hundreds if not thousands of other items that were suspected as being stolen. The suspected stolen items are items you would often see in areas ranging from cabins, houses, businesses, yards, tool sheds and active construction areas, including scrap metal. Most of the items, law enforcement did not have known victims for.
