
Central Bank Corporation is proud to announce the appointment of Nick Huyck to its Board of Directors.
Nick graduated from Pickford High School in 1997. He furthered his education at Northern Michigan University where he studied Business Education. During that time, he also enlisted in the Michigan National Guard serving as a senior boat operator as well as a heavy equipment operator. He completed one tour of duty in Iraq in 2003 with the 1437th MRBC and was later honorably discharged with the rank of Staff Sergeant.
Nick joined Norris Contracting, Inc. in 2007 as a general laborer. He was promoted to Vice-President in 2012 and President/CEO in 2019. In 2021, Nick took over the day-to-day operations and became the majority owner. In 2016, Nick and his wife Mary purchased Rock Cut Resort, a small resort/campground on the St. Mary’s River in Barbeau, MI. Nick and Mary have four children, Evan, Alex, Brayden, and Olivia.
Nick is a lifetime member of the VFW and served on the Chippewa County Veterans Affairs Board. He has also served as the president of the Sault High Athletic Booster Club. Nick is a huge fan and supporter of LSSU athletics as well as all other local high school athletics. In his spare time, he enjoys boating, spending time with friends and family, and attending local sporting events.
Huyck commented, “It is an honor to be appointed to the Central Savings Bank Board of Directors. CSB is a community bank that has helped many people finance their dreams. I look forward to being
a part of that continued success.”
Huyck joins Ron Meister, Mark Savoie, Dennis Skinner, Rick Fitzpatrick, Jim Smith, Danna Sanderson, Rob Landis, Mike Veum, and Leslie Bohn. As stated by Savoie, “We are excited to have Nick join our board and look forward to him bringing his opinions with his expertise in business as well as his commitment to community projects.”
