Barbara Jean (Lawrence) (West) Childers, age 81, of Cedarville, Michigan, died at the Evergreen Living Center in St. Ignace, Michigan, on January 12, 2024. She was born on June 25, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, to Max Eugene and Leah (Howell) Lawrence.

Barbara is survived by sons, Lawrence West of Pickford, Michigan, and James West of St. Ignace; daughter, Penny Mulligan of California; and grandchildren, Jason West, Allison West, Lindsey West, Elizabeth Ann Hensley, Brandon West, and Daniel West. Barbara will be greatly missed.

Per Barbara’s wishes, there will be no services at this time.
