Betty Lou (Cook) June, age 92, of Sault Ste Marie, Michigan, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 18, 2024, at MyMichigan Medical Center Long Term Care. She was born May 18, 1931, in Sault Ste Marie to Alfred and Clara (Murphy) Cook.

Betty was a lifelong resident of Sault Ste Marie where she raised four children with her husband, Robert D. June, of 64 years.

Betty is survived by her daughters, Patti Taylor, Marjorie (Charles) Rosenburg, and Clara Shilts; sister, June Boudreaux; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members who will all miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert; son, Robert Michael June; brother, Morton Cook; and sister, Jean Hensley.

A private family service will be held to honor her memory.
