Carmon Adelyn (Martin) Green, age 76, of St. Ignace, Michigan, died on August 29, 2024, at the Ball Hospice House in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She was born on May 14, 1948, in St. Ignace, Michigan, to Willis and Jeanne (Jones) Martin.

Carmon attended elementary school in Gros Cap, Michigan, and then high school in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After graduation, she went on to earn her associate’s degree in business at Grand Rapids College. She married Fred Alexander and was married for thirty-four years until he died of brain cancer. She married Joseph Green Sr. in 2000, and they enjoyed a wonderful twenty-four years together until Joe passed away on August 20, 2024.

Carmon was a member of the St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church and the Moose Lodge of St. Ignace.

Carmon enjoyed going mushroom hunting, gardening, horseback riding, four wheeling, walking through the woods and bird watching. Carmon loved spending time with her husband, travelling (they visited the Grand Ole Opry, Vegas, and went on multiple cruises), and playing Yahtzee and Euchre. She absolutely loved dogs as well!

Carmon is survived by five stepchildren; twelve step grandchildren; special nieces and nephews, Don (Lorrein) Geisler, Don (Laurie) Lee, Robert Richard Write, Lori (Steve) Fairbanks, and Lisa Massey.

Carmon was preceded in death by husbands, Fred Alexander, Joseph Green Sr., daughters, Renea Michelle, and Renae Florence; and her siblings.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024, at the St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, 120 Church St. St. Ignace, MI, 49781, at 11:00 AM.
