David Lynn Warner, age 73, of Raber, Michigan, passed away at Hearthside Assisted Living in Sault Ste. Marie on July 12, 2024. He was born on July 13, 1950, in Sault Ste. Marie, to Alvin Keith and Mayme Rae (Anderson) Warner.

David loved fishing and caught “the big one” which is now displayed at Raber Bay Bar. He loved riding his four-wheeler, hunting, fishing and spending time with family. Most of all, he loved traveling with John Wilkie to all the country music performances they could get to, with their favorite being the Blue Grass Festival in Kentucky.

David is survived by his sisters, Beverly J. Potoczak, Sandra M. Belinski, Gayle M. Deuman, and Audrey D. Plastino; nieces and nephews, Gwen (Gayle McMullin) Wilkie, Kenneth (Stacy) Wilkie, Julie (Paul) Gangi, Jim (Katie) Belinski, Ronald Warner, Sherry Warner, Brian (Krista) Potoczak, and Chad (Jacquelyn) Plastino; and uncle, Lehman Warner.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Mayme Warner; brother, Keith Warner; sister-in-law, Gayle Warner; brothers-in-law, Michael Potoczak, Thomas Belinski, and John Wilkie.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of David to the Hearthside Assisted Living, 1501 W. Sixth Avenue, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan 49783.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, with the funeral service at 12:00 Noon, at Family Life Funeral Homes, 24549 S. M-129, Pickford, Michigan 49770, with a burial immediately following at North Raber Cemetery.
