Obituaries

Debra “Debbie” McCaffery, age 70, passed away on January 22, 2025, at Medilodge of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She was born on November 16, 1955, at War Memorial Hospital to Thelma and Harold McCaffery.

Debbie was a devoted mother, grandmother, friend, and nurse. She found immense joy in life’s simple pleasures; crocheting heartfelt creations, enjoying beach trips, and sharing her amazing baking. Debbie had an outgoing and welcoming spirit that left a mark on everyone’s heart she met.

Debbie’s legacy lives on through her children, Michael (Jennifer) Klier and Allison Klier; grandchildren, Chelsey (Jarod) Zeeryp, James Belanger, Dylan Klier, Kadence Gorsuch, and Kendyl Gorsuch; all of whom brought immeasurable pride and joy to her life.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Thelma and Harold; as well as her cherished daughter, Andrea Klier.

Debbie will be truly missed by her family and friends.
