Obituaries

Dorri Anne Gallagher, age 60, died on March 24, 2025, at her home in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She was born on November 15, 1964, in St. Ignace, Michigan to Oliver and Gertrude (St. Onge) LaDuke.

Dorri grew up in St. Ignace and raised three children, Ashley, Heather and Anthony Gallagher. Dorri adored her lifelong partner, Randy Marsh; she had many fond memories with Randy and her children.

Dorri loved laying in the Sun on hot summer days and having family cookouts at the beach. She enjoyed 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, boating, and playing dice with her family and friends.

Dorri is survived by her daughters, Ashley Gallagher and Heather Gallagher of Sault Ste. Marie; son, Anthony Gallagher III of St. Ignace; grandchildren, Kionah Jones, Daniel Moreno, Alysia Moreno, Jeremiah Jones, Tay’Shavn Clark, Ah”Nesty Lay, Dominick Gallagher, Bently Gallagher, and Serenity Chingwa; and sister, Debbie LaDuke Baker of St. Ignace.

Dorri was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Gertrude; and brother, Anthony “Tony” LaDuke.

A Celebration of Life for Dorri will be held in the Summer of 2025.
