Earline Alexandria (McKechnie) Fobar, age 66, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, died peacefully on March 22, 2024, at Medilodge-Sault. She was born on December 20, 1957, in Sault Ste. Marie, to Earl and Beatrice “Clara” (Nelson) McKechnie.

Earline lived a life filled with joy and brought happiness to everyone around her. She will be remembered for her warm smile that could light up a room, and her friendly demeanor. Earline was a devoted animal lover and cherished her furry companions. Her kindness extended to everyone she met, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will be a blessing.

Earline is survived by her loving husband, Richard Fobar; cherished son, Eric (Beth) Lund of Southfield, Michigan; she is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Patricia Farnhill of Traverse City, Michigan, Janice (Gary) Bowman of Port Charlotte, Florida, and Geraldine Carnahan of Sault Ste. Marie; brother, Earl (Phyllis) McKechnie of Sault Ste. Marie and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews who will all miss her dearly.

Earline was preceded in death by her parents, Earl II and Beatrice McKechnie.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Summer of 2024. The date and time will be announced at a later date.
