Erin Kathleen Henderson, age 32, of Kincheloe, Michigan, died on February 16, 2024, at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was born on October 23,1991, in Gallup, New Mexico.

Erin grew up in Marquette, Michigan, and then moved to Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. She graduated from Sault Area High School with the Class of 2009. While in the Sault, she was a bartender at the Savoy, as well as a waitress at the Ojibway. Erin became an office clerk for the front desk at the Bay Mills Resort and Casino Hotel and worked her way to becoming a security supervisor.

Erin loved to play soccer and dance while growing up. She loved spending time with family at the cabin on Lake Superior and taking her dog Sebastian for long walks. She was willing to help anyone who needed it. She had many friends that she held dear and enjoyed spending time with her friends at home or on long road trips. Erin was a well-loved Auntie to many of her friends’ children.

Erin is survived by her mother, Julie Henderson; grandmother, Dolores Henderson; brother Michael (Noelle) Lisenbery; many aunts and uncles, including Patrick (Jenna) Henderson, Laura (Ray) Volk, Catherine Veraghen, Christine (Jay) Webert, Jeanne (Matthew) Bigge, Gael
(John) Eschelweck, and Diane (Steve) Koch; niece and nephew, Gwendolyn and Finnegan; and cousins Andrew, Emily, Tina, Mei Mei, Betsy, Cara, Ashley, Sarah, Matthew, Katelyn, and Megan.

Erin was preceded in death by her grandfather, Patrick Henderson; aunt, Elizabeth Henderson; and her beloved dog, Mya.

Memorials may be given to an animal shelter of your choice in Erin’s name.

A Visitation will be held on March 9, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at Family Life Funeral Homes at 4951 S. M-129, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM.
